Our Mission

The mission of CENET Cultural Exchange Network is to promote cultural exchange between Americans and citizens of other countries through immersion in the social life and work environment of the host culture. By promoting cultural exchange, CENET seeks to facilitate global knowledge, cultural adaptability, international understanding, maturity, and self-awareness.



Work and Travel in the USA

A university student traveling to the U.S. to gain work experience and to explore American culture for up to 4 months.

Training/Internship in the USA

A professional or university student coming to the U.S. for a structured work experience or internship for up to 18 months.

Internship Outside the USA

A university student or recent graduate who wants to intern in England or Australia for up to 6 months.

Founded in 1994 by Dr. Marvin C. Swanson and Margaret Popham, CENET reaches around the world to provide a wide variety of services to the global community.
